Medical education research emphasizing performance milestones and assessment in both graduate and undergraduate medical education with a focus on clinical reasoning, remediation, and use of evidence-based medicine resources.  Other areas of interest include faculty development for improvement in feedback to learners, learner-centered teaching methods, quality improvement measures for reduction in medical errors, preparation for the qualifying and certification exam in Emergency Medicine, and the development of curricula to develop residents as educators.
