The three complementary services in the Molecular Pathology Shared Resource provide fundamental
technologies for CU Cancer Center researchers, including DNA sequencing, biospecimen evaluation and preparation, and cytogenetics analysis. Having expertise in these molecular research essentials greatly facilitates cancer research in Colorado.
The CU Cancer Center Cytogenetics Service is a source of expertise on experimental design, data analyses and interpretation and is equipped with state-of-the-art fluorescence microscopes and performs karyotyping and custom-based FISH assays.
