David M. Weil manages operations and educational technology for the Center for Bioethics and Humanities. He has extensive experience in health/science communications, most recently focused on e-learning. His roles at the Center include supporting the Director in developing and achieving strategic goals and objectives. He provides leadership in adoption and utilization of best practices in teaching technology. David develops and maintains operational policies and procedures, and manages the daily operation of the Fulginiti Pavilion. David acts as liaison between the Center for Bioethics and Humanities and campus support departments, facility users and vendors/contractors.
He provides instructional design, photography, video, graphic design, presentation, audience response technology and Canvas learning management system support to faculty and interprofessional affiliates. He recently produced over 40 case-based videos for the online Masters Program in Palliative Care. He also designs marketing flyers, e-announcements and is the Center’s webmaster. David is an active member of the Communication Media Management Association.
