Interprofessional Education

The University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine has developed an innovative interprofessional education (IPE) program designed to prepare dental graduates to practice collaboratively while improving patient safety and health outcomes. The REACH Program and the Frontier Center Project are the IPE program's two major components.

  • The Realizing Educational Advancement for Collaborative Health (REACH) program focuses on team dynamics and communication which are shared across all AMC health schools and programs that begin the first day students come to campus and continues until graduation.

  •  The Frontier Center Project, funded by Delta Dental of Colorado Foundation, provides collaborative education and practice around oral health and preventive practices in primary care.
