Risk Management and Insurance: Graduate Programs

The pervasive reality of risk affects all individuals and organizations. In the aftermath of recent financial and natural crises, the difference between success and failure increasingly depends on a firm's ability to effectively manage risk to enhance firm value.

Graduate degree options

The MBA with Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) Specialization includes two core risk management courses in addition to the usual courses needed to prepare for a career in business administration  (48 credit hours).

The MS in Finance and Risk Management program focuses more tightly on finance in general and risk management and insurance in particular. A specific Risk Management and Insurance Specialization is offered with the MS in Finance and Risk Management.

The Graduate Certificate in Risk Management can be added to any graduate degree by taking four classes. See the intent to declare document for details. Learn more about the CU Denver Graduate Student Certificate.

This was a great opportunity to cross the threshold into a real company and observe their daily lifestyle. It has inspired me. Thank you for the opportunity.
