Lisa Hamil, CPL

Lisa Hamil, CPL, has over 30 years of experience in oil and gas and recently took a new position with Anadarko E&P Onshore LLC as a surface land negotiator in the DJ Basin. She has experience in many areas including acquisitions and divestitures, land negotiation and administration, production technology, oil and gas accounting and investor relations. She has worked in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, North Dakota, Wyoming, Utah and Colorado.

In addition, she is Co-founder of Energy360, whose mission is to build consumer energy knowledge and engage them in a critical conversation about the future.  Working with a group of energy professionals with diverse backgrounds who collectively have spent decades dealing with the logistical, political and economic issues associated with energy, her goal is to help uncover the misinformation around all forms of energy and help consumers understand the role they play in the future of energy.  Energy360 recently co-sponsored, with the Consumer Energy Alliance and UCD, the inaugural Energy Day Colorado family festival focused on STEM education and how STEM can lead to careers in the energy industry. 

She currently teaches the “Life Cycle of Oil and Natural Gas” class through the Global Energy Management Program at the University of Colorado at Denver, is a Board member of the Denver Petroleum Club, AAPL member, DAPL member and is active on the Education and Advocacy committee.
