Note on adverting sponsorship benefits: 

To ensure company logo appears in all pre-event ads, sponsorship must be secured by
Wednesday, August 1, 2012.  Sponsorships secured after Wednesday, August 1, 2012 cannot be guaranteed logo appearance in all pre-event ads. 

Post-event ad specification:
The university must approve all ads prior to publication to ensure the ad does NOT:

  • Contain qualitative language, i.e. “Acme Energy is the number 1 oil and gas producer.”
  • It may not include a call to action, i.e. “Mention this ad for a discount.”
  • The ad MAY contain value-neutral descriptions, including displays or visual depictions of the sponsor’s product line or services.
  • The ad MAY state that the sponsor is, “proud to be a ________ sponsor of the event.”
