The pervasive reality of risk affects all individuals and organizations. In
the aftermath of recent financial and natural crises, the difference
between success and failure increasingly depends on a firm’s ability to
effectively manage risk to enhance firm value.
The Risk Management and Insurance (RMI) major provides a specific focus on insurance products and their use
in mitigating risk in commercial and personal situations. Graduates of this RMI program enjoy a 100% job placement rate (Spring 2015)

A Career Opportunity for Community College Graduates
Community college students who have satisfactorily completed the
Associate of Arts with a Business major are guaranteed credit for all
Guaranteed Transfer courses, reducing the number of necessary credits
to be completed within the Business School. Please see the listing of courses which typically need to be completed by community college
students who have completed their Associates of Arts degree.
