Extraordinary Leadership in
Enjoy an evening with Pulitzer Prize-winning author and renowned presidential historian, Doris Kearns Goodwin, while supporting CU Denver Business School students. For over 20 years, the Celebration of Success has been Denver’s premier fundraising event, bringing in world-class speakers, and raising more than $3.3 million in student scholarship funds. This year, our goal is to raise over $200,000 to put toward helping students advance their education—and we need your help.
With tuition on the rise, we’re calling on community leaders like you to help make college affordability possible by sponsoring the largest and most important fundraising event of the year. Your generous contribution will have a direct impact on the CU Denver Business School. With a table sponsorship of $10,000 you will help six students with tuition support. A $25,000 gift will create a scholarship in your name, and allow you the freedom to define how the award helps students.
About Our Speaker
Enjoy an evening with "America’s historian-in-chief" and Pulitzer Prize-winning author Doris Kearns Goodwin, who will provide an informed and enthralling analysis of current events, with remarkable insight into the lives of the leaders who have shaped the United States. Ms. Goodwin will bring history alive with an uncanny sense of detail and a master storyteller’s grasp of depth.
Ms. Goodwin will examine U.S. presidential leadership triumphs, trials and tribulations. It was her experience as a 24-year-old White House Fellow under President Lyndon B. Johnson that fueled her interest in becoming a presidential historian and author.
One of the most recognized authors in the field, she has written six critically acclaimed, bestselling books including The Bully Pulpit and Team of Rivals. Among her many honors and awards, Ms. Goodwin is the recipient of the Charles Frankel Prize, the Sarah Josepha Hale Award and, most recently, the Carl Sandburg Literary Award. Ms. Goodwin is currently writing a new book on U.S. Presidential leadership.
Great Networking and Connections
The gala is considered among the most prominent events held within the Denver business community. You and your guests will have opportunities to meet and network with the Business School’s extended community of friends.
