Western Regional Graduate Program (WRGP)

Western Regional Graduate Program Tuition Information

The Western Regional Graduate Program allows graduate students in qualifying programs residing in the Western US states the opportunity to enroll at the CU Denver Business School and pay in-state tuition. WRGP tuition rates begin in Fall 2017 for any newly admitted students.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Reside in eligible state prior to starting first academic term of WRGP acceptance.
  2. Be admitted into qualifying program.
  3. Maintain current residency of WRGP state until degree completion.


Once admitted into a qualifying program, eligible students will receive the WRGP form. You will need to complete the form and provide proof of WRGP state residency six weeks prior to first semester of enrollment.

  • North Dakota
  • Oregon
  • South Dakota

    Mariana Islands (CNMI)

  • Guam

Qualifying Programs


 I’ve already completed my application for an upcoming semester and would like to be considered for WRGP. Can I still apply?

Yes. For all Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 applicants, you will need to complete the WRGP form six weeks prior to first semester of enrollment. ​


 Can I enroll through WRGP as a part-time student?

Yes. Part-time students are eligible to participate in WRGP. ​


 Can I enroll in online courses under WRGP?

Yes. Online courses are eligible in WRGP. ​


 If I’m admitted to WRGP, can I change my resident status to Colorado?

No. You must remain a resident of your state throughout your entire degree.​


 Do I need to submit documentation every year?

No. Once you’re approved, you will maintain your WRGP status until degree completion. ​
