The Bard Center Business Plan Competition is one of the foremost events for early stage companies in Colorado. The first Bard Center Business Plan Competition was held in 2002 and the event has been growing ever since. It seeks to promote the development of high-caliber business plans, recognize the most outstanding plans with more than $50,000 in cash and in-kind awards from area businesses, and encourage the creation of new businesses.
Year after year, competitors vie for the top prize of $10,000 in cash plus in-kind prizes. This year the competition will culminate on June 18, 2013 at the Four Seasons Hotel where 4-6 finalists will present their proposals to a panel of judges and community members.
