Urgent Rx: UrgentRx makes credit-card sized packages of single-serving, over-the-counter (OTC) medications. The first medication to be launched is generic aspirin, which can be taken without water because it tastes good (different fruit flavors are used). The targeted user for the aspirin product is someone who is concerned about heart attacks or may need quick dose medication in an easy to carry form. UrgentRx got 2nd place in the 2010 Bard Center business plan competition.
