The Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC), a worker health and safety education and research center in the Center for Worker Health and Environment, is one of the 17 centers funded by the Centers for Disease Control/National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (CDC/NIOSH).
With our main offices based in Colorado at the University of Colorado in Aurora, we have graduate training programs at both the Colorado State University campus in Fort Collins and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. Four of the five graduate programs, listed below, are held at Colorado State University. We also offer pilot research program grants and other opportunities for worker health and safety training and education.
Spanning from the borders of Canada to Mexico, the MAP ERC helps to meet the occupational health needs of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota by developing partnerships, funding research, and educating the future occupational health and safety workforce.
