What to Expect when Working with Us

Project Request

After making a request, we will contact you via e-mail to schedule an in-person meeting to develop a scope of work.

Scope of Work Developed

At your scope of work meeting, be prepared to discuss the science underpinning your research, your specific study hypotheses, measurement tools, timelines, and your budget for the work. Note, although we are a service center with hourly rates, many individuals qualify for highly subsidized rates (see strategic partners).

Biostatistician Identified

After this initial meeting you will be matched with a faculty member or student based on expertise needed and your timeline. You may contact the biostatistician directly once the scope of work is signed by you. After this point, you should expect routine communication regarding the progress of your project until completion.

Timing

We strongly recommend contacting us at least 6 weeks prior to any deadline. This usually allows enough time for your research to be understood and your biostatistics partner to have ample time to investigate the design, perform analyses and disseminate the results.

As always, the Project Manager and Directors are always available to answer any questions during the life cycle of your project.
