Porismita Borah


Porismita Borah (Ph.D., University of Wisconsin-Madison) is an Assistant Professor in the Edward R. Murrow College of Communication, and a graduate faculty in the Prevention Science program, Washington State University. Porismita’s main areas of research interests are emerging technology in the context of politics and health. Porismita’s research has been published in many prestigious journals such as Journal of Communication and Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication. She has received two internal grants from WSU to study mobile health. She is co-investigator in a grant recently funded by the NIH.
