Erin Masterson

​​Erin E. Masterson, PhD, MPH is a NIDCR-funded postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry. She received her PhD in Epidemiology (University of Washington), MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics (Oregon Health & Science University) and BA in Biological Anthropology and Global Health (Northwestern University). Dr. Masterson’s research intersects epidemiology, clinical dentistry and physical anthropology and aims to develop disrupted dental enamel formation as a health risk screening tool and means by which to better understand how childhood experience influences long-term, subsequent health. Her work and training have been funded by the NIDCR, American Academy of Pediatrics and The Wenner-Gren Foundation, and her findings have been published across disciplines, including in American Journal of Public Health, Journal of Dental Research and Human Organization.
