Meredith Fort

Meredith Fort, PhD, MPH, Instructor in the Department of Family Medicine, at the University of Colorado-Denver is a health services researcher and program evaluator with over fifteen years of experience in the design, implementation, and evaluation of community-based health programs in Central America, Mexico, and the United States. At the Centers for American Indian and Alaska Native Health she is leading a diabetes translational research pilot and feasibility study on family engagement and is a Research Fellow in the Disparities Research Network Center. She teaches Comparative Health Systems in the School of Public Health and also conducts program evaluations. Her research and public health practice interests are: equitable access to primary health care services, family-based strategies to improve chronic disease management, and community-level health promotion interventions.
