Mission: To facilitate scientific discovery and evidence-based practice that increases safety, reduces injury and violence, and improves injury outcomes among children and adolescents.
Our goals include:
- Research: Conduct high-quality research on child and adolescent injury and violence issues
- Community Programs: Conduct high quality injury and violence prevention activities in the community setting
- Policy: Work to improve national, state, tribal, local and organizational policy to address injury and violence issues
- Workforce Development: Train and assist professionals in public health practice applied to injury and violence prevention
