Ms. Kimminau has been a CEPEG team member since 2006, starting as School Recruitment Coordinator for the Youth Tobacco Attitudes and Behaviors Survey. She has served in research and administrative management roles on studies funded by NIH, state health agencies, and pharmaceutical companies. In school recruitment for student health surveys, she has obtained Colorado's largest-ever numbers of students meeting nationally approved participation rates for such surveys. Since 2011, she has led development of the Tobacco Treatment program for inpatients at University of Colorado Hospital. In 2012, she obtained a three-year state grant to implement model smoking cessation systems across University of Colorado Health hospitals. In her free time, she can be found at a gym, spending time with her two adult daughters and husband, or enjoying a good bottle of wine.
