Learning what is and is not public health takes practice. Established to ensure that connections to public health practice are incorporated throughout the Colorado School of Public Health, the Center for Public Health Practice gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge, theories and skills in our local communities through field application.
Practice-Based Learning
The MPH practicum is intended to support your growth, both personally and professionally while connecting and contributing to community needs. The experience provides you the opportunity to develop your professional skills by leading a project in a public health setting that contributes to an unmet need of the host site. After completing at least 120 hours at your preceptor site, CSPH makes certain you’ll be a part of the next generation of public health professionals.
