Current Research Projects:
  • National Children�s Study (NCS) (Co-Investigator): A national longitudinal cohort study of the effects of the environment on pregnancy  and childhood growth and development over the first 21 years of life. The local study site for the vanguard phase is in Douglas County, Colorado.
  • Diabetes Prevention Program Outcome Study (DPPOS) (National Vice Chair): This is a 27-center study to prevent Type 2 diabetes.
  • SEARCH for Diabetes in Youth (Co-Investigator): This is a registry project aimed at identifying trends in diabetes incidence in six U.S. geographic areas.
