Location, location, location
Colorado has a strong commitment to public health. With a variety of research institutions, non-profit organizations, healthcare facilities, and governmental organizations, you'll have access a plethora of networking, internship, practicum, and job opportunities. Colorado is also a veritable playground for all things outdoors. Whether you're looking to hike one of the state's 58 14ers (peaks that rise more than 14,000 feet above sea level), ski/snowboard at any of the 22 resorts, or go to an event in one of the major cosmopolitan areas, you won't be disappointed.
