Together, we've accomplished so much
In the world of research, education and practice, 10 years can seem as short as the blink of an eye, until we reflect on how much we have accomplished together. Right now, today, the Colorado School of Public Health is helping to create real improvements right here in our own community, and in communities across the state, region, nation and globe. From diabetes research and prevention, to helping communities improve tobacco control, or addressing environmental concerns, the power of our collective work is making an impact. But it doesn't stop there; we are helping communities across the U.S. and the globe to live healthier lives. That's a reason to celebrate, this year and every year.
As we finish our 10th anniversary year, we recognize everyone who has been a part of our school from the beginning and through today. Together, we are all charting new paths for a healthier future, for everyone.
On this 10th Anniversary website you will find:
- Our 10th Anniversary Magazine: This magazine, our first, tells the story of the Colorado School of Public Health over its initial decade. The stories are about the research accomplishments of the faculty and students, the school’s engagement with the state through education and training, practice and translation, and the impact of our alumni. Above all, this magazine documents how the school and its many public health and community partners have contributed to advancing health in Colorado—the over-riding goal a decade ago when ColoradoSPH was established and the Colorado Public Health Act of 2008 was passed.
- ColoradoSPH History: Take a stroll down memory lane with us and read about the history of ColoradoSPH. If anything is missing, please let us know using one of the "Memories" forms!
- Memories: An opportunity to share your memories, recognize your classmates, faculty and staff, or just let us know what is on your mind when it comes to the school and public health in Colorado!
Happy 10th birthday, ColoradoSPH!
