Bio

Dr. Walker has been a licensed clinical psychologist since 1983 and serves as Coordinator of Clinical Activities in the Clinical Health Psychology program. She is an elected Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the Society of Behavioral Medicine and serves as Associate Editor of the journal Translational Behavioral Medicine: Practice, Policy and Research. She is also a Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Her main interests within health psychology are in chronic pain, coping with chronic illness, integrated primary care and evidence-based practice. She has published extensively and presented numerous workshops across the country focusing on these topics.
