Ryan Yee

UPP 2013-2014 Cohort

Ryan Yee is currently entering his second year as an undergraduate student at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. He is majoring in Biomedical Sciences in the College of Veterinarian Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Ryan aspires to be a physician one day and own his own family practice in the state that he was born, Hawaii. As a member of the Undergraduate Pre-Health Program for the summer of 2013, Ryan will be placed in a Family Practice Clinic at Kaiser Permanente as a student intern. He hopes to understand disparities in healthcare and help eliminate some of them in the future. Ryan feels honored to be a part of this program along with his older brother Jordan who is a great role model to him.

In his first year at Colorado State University, Ryan was involved in Habitat for Humanity and the Braiden Activity Crew. Through diligent study, Ryan maintained good grades and was placed on the Dean's List. Ryan has a passion for sports playing basketball and soccer in his spare time. He hopes to join the CSU Track team in the Fall as a Pole Vaulter.
