Junior is currently a senior majoring in Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder and will be graduating in May of 2014. At CU-Boulder, Junior is now the new Vice President of the MAPS (Minority Association of Pre-Health Students) student organization and will continue to be the Vice President throughout his senior year. In this group, he leads projects directed towards serving underrepresented groups within the community by coordinating several volunteer opportunities for fellow students to join. Also, he has volunteered at the local Boulder Community Hospital where he assisted the medical staff in taking care of recovering patients in the medical surgery department. He has a great passion for helping and being able to serve others the best way that he can and someday hopes to put these aspirations to use by becoming a doctor. He is interested in internal medicine but is open to all sorts of other specialties. He is working through the Kaiser Track and is very humble to have received the opportunity to be apart of UPP.
