Ngoc Vu

Undergraduate Pre-Health Program | 2011-2012 Cohort

Ngoc Vu was born in a refugee camp in Hong Kong and immigrated to the US when she was seven. Now she is a junior attending the University of Colorado Denver, double majoring in Biology and Psychology. From an early age, she has always been drawn to science, particularly, health sciences and how it impacted the quality of life for humanity. This love and enthusiasm for science eventually manifested the desire to become a physician. She wanted an occupation that would incorporate her passion for science and her desire to utilize that passion in a productive manner. Ngoc joined UPP in hopes of exploring her intended career of Pediatric medicine. UPP provided tangible experiences that were incredible conductive in helping her ascertain a variety of perspectives pertaining to healthcare and what was expected of a physician. Her other interests includes writing, reading, history, tennis, and a variety of other sports.
