Beza Jobira

Undergraduate Pre-Health Program | 2011-2012 Cohort

Beza Jobira is attending the University of Colorado Denver. She is currently a senior and is majoring in Biology. She plans on attending medical school to become a Family Physician. Beza stands out with her exceptional qualities. She is focused, goal oriented and engaged in all the opportunities for growth and learning. Beza has a unique experience because she is a student who came to America. She has done a tremendous job of learning not only the language but also the cultures, while maintaining her own identity. Beza was motivated to apply for the UPP program after learning about the program at a Health Professional Conference. Beza is active at her school and in her community. She is part of a pre-health organization and engages in community services and outreach opportunities by working closely with students and faculty advisors. Beza has interned at Kaiser Permanente this last summer and she states UPP has opened a wide door of opportunities and resources to help her expand her knowledge about the healthcare industry and gain an invaluable experience by working with diverse healthcare professionals.
