Taylor DeLaura

Undergraduate Pre-Health Program | 2011-2012 Cohort

‚ÄčTaylor is a Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Classics double major at the University of Colorado Boulder and will graduate in May of 2013. She currently is the President of Medadvance, a student run internship affiliated with SERI, the President of the University of Colorado Classics Club, and actively involved as a Norlin Scholar. She has a passion for educating youth about science and attending college, and annually volunteers for the AAUW Expanding Your Horizons Day which encourages girls from underserved communities to learn about math and science. She found UPP to be an unparalleled opportunity to become further educated in her field of choice, network with people from varied backgrounds, and above all challenge herself to become more informed about healthcare careers other than being a physician. In her spare time she enjoys camping, snowboarding, reading, painting, and a good rock concert.
