Office of Case Management


Welcome

Welcome to the Office of Case Management, serving CU Denver | Anschutz students!

The Office of Case Management was established in January 2013 to better serve the needs of the campus community and struggling students. Case management services include but are not limited to; providing intervention, advocacy, resources and referrals as well as follow-up services for students who are experiencing significant difficulties. Case managers support students struggling to navigate the university system, students with current and emerging mental or physical health issues, and students experiencing issues adjusting to academic and social life. 

Case Managers coordinate student services and provide referrals to the appropriate resources on campus such as the Office of Community Standards and Wellness, Office of the Registrar, Student and Community Counseling Center, Office of Financial Aid, Disability Resources and Services, Student Mental Health Services, and student advocacy offices.  

In addition to supporting students, case managers are also available to consult with faculty, staff, parents, and concerned others any time they are worried about a student's behavior.

Mission 

The Office of Case Management fosters student growth, development, and success by assisting students dealing with areas related to mental health, emotional wellbeing, and safety by providing outreach, resources, referrals, advocacy, and follow up services.  

Case Managers collaborate and consult with students, parents, faculty, staff, and other campus resources to best address the diverse needs of each student.​

 Student

The Office of Case Management is available to help students experiencing challenging or difficult life circumstances which might impede their academic success. Our office can assist students in navigating the university system, reviewing and identifying options, as well as providing resources and referrals. 

Often times someone may be worried about the wellbeing of a student and can share those concerns online, under the "Submit a Concern" tab. When a referral has been made, case managers may reach out to the student to offer resources and support.

 Parent

​The Office of Case Management works closely with parents and guardians who are concerned about their student. Parents are encouraged to be proactive when worried about the wellbeing of their child, by using the "Submit a Concern" tab on this page.

In addition, in the event of a student health or safety emergency on campus, the Office of Case Management may reach out to parents to keep them informed.
