In his current position as Director of Online Marketing and Web Development Services for the University of Colorado Denver, Jeremy is responsible for directing a team of nine full-time marketing and web development professionals that provide the university with results-driven integrated marketing strategies including market research, competitive analysis, traditional and online advertising, marketing analytics, copywriting, graphic design, web design and development, and implementing campus-wide marketing and recruitment systems such as a web content management (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Greg is responsible for researching, creating, and implementing ATEL's comprehensive communication and retention plan (both on and offline); as well as identifying and optimizing key enrollment drivers. He also translates our marketing ideas and strategies into easily digestible content to ensure that the integrity and professionalism of CU Online is carried throughout the various media, whether they be brochures, postcards, emails, websites, and the occasional Facebook/Twitter/MySpace post (yes, some of our audience still uses MySpace, and no, you cannot judge them).

As a Web and Intranet Support Team Coordinator, Megan’s main responsibility is to work with faculty and staff developing their websites and custom intranets at the downtown and Anschutz campuses.  A Wyoming native, Megan previously was a web developer and IT support specialist for Wallick Volk Mortgage Bankers in Cheyenne.  She received her BS in Information Systems and Technology from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska.  In her free time, Megan works with J.K. Rowling on the development of Pottermore.com.

As a part of the web development team, Scott is always trying to understand what makes a web site great. Scott has a special passion for connecting with people, understanding their needs, and crafting a solution to provide the best possible experience. His specialties include: Technologies such as XHTML, CSS, ECMAscript and DOM, design research, information architecture and interface design. Ask Scott: How do I build a website so that it provides the best experience possible to everyone? What is (choose one: AJAX, Web 2.0, user experience design, usability, interaction design, web standards, information architecture) and why should I care? Where is the web likely to be in five years?

Michael has worked for University Web Services as an Intern Graphic Designer, Junior Web Developer, and now Web Development Quality Assurance Coordinator.  His main responsibility is to ensure the highest standards of quality web development from the UWS team.  Michael received his BA in Communication from The University of Colorado.

Matthew has been working in the advertising industry for the past decade, first spending several years as an in-house designer for advertising agencies, then freelancing for several years for agencies all over the United States. He now joins the university in the newly created position--Interactive Designer. Matthew’s design work and writings have been featured in .net magazine, the book Web Design Index, Digital Web Magazine, Smashing Magazine, and in dozens of galleries all over the Internet. He has consulted and crafted brands and direction for companies that range all across the spectrum--from online applications, to custom shoe designers, to tool stores and law firms. Matthew and his wife, Mikayla, moved to Colorado in 2005.

Melissa joined University Web Services in the summer of 2011 as a Documentation and Training Specialist. She started her career completing several small writing and web development projects for Illinois State University, where she holds a Bachelor of Arts in English – Technical Writing. Since then, she has worked as a Technical Writer and Certified Instructional Technologist in the IT departments of several large, Fortune 500 companies. Melissa is excited to be back in the university setting where she’s able to use a variety of her current skills, and continue to build new expertise. Outside of work, Melissa loves to spend time outdoors with her husband Michael and daughter Lilyana, and she has a soft spot for all her furry friends.

Graham joined the University Web Services team as a web developer in spring of 2010. He has worked as a front-end web developer, interaction designer and visual designer for over 15 years, working with private corporations, advertising and design agencies, and as an independent consultant serving clients from a diverse range of industries including, banking, airline, newspaper, security and automotive.

Jen joined University Web Services in February of 2010 to help support the faculty and staff through the ongoing process of creating and maintaining websites. She moved to Colorado from Chicago where she worked as a user interface developer for Sears Holdings. Currently Jen is studying Landscape Architecture with the College of Architecture and Planning and is interested in how future web development and online learning will be impacted by mapping technologies.

Susan joined the Web services team in July, 2012. She started her career in NC, her home state, and has worked over the years for a variety of organizations in the private and education sectors. Most recently, she worked as a Web Manager/Information Architect in academic libraries at both VCU and NC State University. Susan has published and presented at conferences on search design and Web site usability, and was an active member of the UX communities in both VA and NC. Susan received a BA from UNC-Greensboro, and a MS in Information Science from UNC-Chapel-Hill.
