PROVOST'S POST

2016 Faculty Award Winners

April 14, 2016

Dear faculty colleagues,

Each year we honor our faculty— one of the university’s greatest assets—with the faculty awards. These accolades recognize superior accomplishments in teaching, leadership and service, research and creative activities, librarianship, faculty mentoring, and practices related to non-tenure-track faculty. Recipients are chosen by selection committees comprising previous award winners.

In addition to the faculty excellence award winners, listed below, we recognize M. Douglas Jones, Jr., and Tim Byers, winners of the Sewall Award for exceptional contributions of leadership and vision to CU Anschutz, and Ted J. Clarke, winner of the Sabin award for exceptional contributions to the Anschutz campus and the health of the citizens of Colorado.

Faculty award winners from CU Anschutz will be honored at the May 27 commencement. Those from CU Denver will be honored at a luncheon on September 21.

Please join me in congratulating the 2016 faculty honorees.

Sincerely,
Roderick Nairn, PhD
Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs
