Consistent with the CU System Administrative Policy Statement “Implementation of Regent Policy on Program Review,” the university conducts academic program reviews every seven years to assess the strengths and weaknesses of units, to make decisions regarding their future, and to ensure high-quality programs that are administered efficiently. The Office of the Provost manages the university’s program reviews through the Office of Academic Resources and Services (OARS).
This website provides all the information that units preparing for review require to complete a successful program review. The university policy (pdf) has the most comprehensive information.
