We are looking for volunteers to help set up and manage booths for the FASD Awareness Day on September 9. We also have opportunities for students, community members and professionals to volunteer with our project and learn about FASD/ATOD prevention efforts in our state.
Be a speaker
We are looking for quality speakers to be a part of our speakers bureau. This would include attending The Partnership to Prevent FASD Public Education Program in conjunction with the FASD Train the Trainer provider and upcoming community course. If you think this is something you might be interested in, we are currently taking names for future trainings.
Is your agency, program or community in need of a speaker knowledgeable about the effects of prenatal alcohol and drug exposure on the developing fetus? We have professional speakers who have presented at local and national conferences. We offer training for as little as an hour or as much as two days to fit your agency: education, medicine, nursing, criminal justice/legal, social services, human services, community and/or faith-based organizations. Request training.
Do you want to include FASD/ATOD prevention items at your next event? We have brochures in English and Spanish, nail files with a prevention message, drink coasters with our prevention message, baby bottles with beer bottle caps, rack cards with prevention messages as well as other items upon request. Let us know your needs are and we will try to find the items you are looking for.
