COVID-19 UPDATE: All Basic Life Support Courses are closed until further notice. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com or 303-724-8002.
The Office of Campus Student Services (OCSS) offers Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for CU alumni, faculty, staff, students, and unaffiliated community members. This is a 4-hour traditional classroom course where BLS is taught and demonstrated. Participants learn to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, and use an AED.
You don't need to be a healthcare provider to participate. The BLS course provides a two-year certification through the American Heart Association.
Below is a list of available sessions for the spring 2020 term. If a course is listed but not available, the session is full. To register for a class, click the links below or use the button on the right.
Participants will receive the BLS Provider Manual at the beginning of class. The course will be held in the Education 2 North Building, #3108.
The class will start promptly at 5:30pm so we suggest getting there early or you may not be permitted into the class.
Visitors are encouraged to park in the Ignacio or Georgetown lots. A parking map can be found in the confirmation email after registering for the course.
