Responsive Reforms

Welcome to the Department of Health Systems, Management and Policy. Our Department is a national leader in health services research, with a rapidly expanding faculty in areas including economics, health policy, pharmaceutical policy, management, and outcomes research.

Our exciting and challenging MPH program allows students to gain knowledge and skills in health services management or health policy.

We are interdisciplinary in both philosophy and practice.  We actively work with local research partners, such as Denver Health, Kaiser Permanente, and the Colorado Health Outcomes Program. Active research areas include mental health, health insurance, health outcomes, substance abuse treatment and many other topics.

HSMP has invited a wide range of health care professionals, from academia and in the industry, to share their expertise and experiences that will allow students in the HSMP programs, School of Public Health students and all other interested attendees an opportunity to interact, ask questions, and deepen their understanding about these important topics.  No RSVP is required--just pass the word to those interested, and bring your own lunch.
