Adult/ Family Nurse Practitioner Black Hills of South Dakota

You will work in collaboration with Ken Diamond, MD and Paula Berg, CNP, in delivering evidence based, comprehensive care in a medical home to patients of all ages.   We have an outstanding patient population and much loved staff in a growing practice of 15 years.  We accept all insurances except Medicaid.
Monday – Thursday 7 AM – 6 PM. Three day weekends!   No evenings, weekends, holidays.   

The ideal candidates will have hospital/ clinical experience and a strong interest in preventative care, and adult outpatient medicine. The selected candidates will need to be licensed in or be able to obtain a South Dakota and DEA license.

Associate Professor beginning Fall 2014. A doctoral degree is required and the PhD in nursing is preferred. If the doctoral degree is in a related field, the applicant must have a graduate degree in a nursing clinical specialty. Nurse Practitioner credentialing is desirable, but not required. An interest in genetics, gerontology, informatics or translational research is a plus.
Successful applicants will demonstrate strong commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment and will help shape a new graduate program. Teaching assignment includes classroom and clinical instruction. Every third interim provides opportunity for scholarly pursuits. Courses to be taught are dependent on specialization and interests of the successful applicant.

· We have a level 3 NICU with a fantastic Neonatology service. We take care of Level 1 babies only. No C-section or delivery attendance. We manage our practices pediatric admissions.
· See between 15-24 patients per day in the office.
