  • Amanda Dempsey, MD, PhD, MPH, joins Carnegie Mellon psychology professor Gretchen Chapman in sharing the latest research on how physicians can better communicate with parents and patients who avoid life-saving vaccines in this Science Friday segment​.

  • "The question of whether vaccines or vaccine components cause autism is one that can, and has, been answered by science," said Sean O'Leary, MD.   • The Child Health Clinic at Children’s Hospital Colorado serves a lot kids on public insurance, about 85 percent. Perhaps, 10 percent are covered by CHIP. “These are kids whose parents work and make a little too much money to qualify for Medicaid,” said pediatrician, Christopher Stille, MD, MPH. “It’s a lifeline for them.” in a Colorado Public Radio​ article.
