Our educational activities include experiences for fellows, pediatric and family medicine residents, physician assistant interns, and medical students. MORE »

Our research continues to expand with the addition of new faculty and increased federal funding. Immunization delivery and health services research are major foci. MORE »


  • Dr. Sean O’Leary has been selected to be the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society (PIDS) liaison to CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
  • Dr. James Strain has been promoted to Distinguished Clinical Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, CU School of Medicine.
  • Drs. Tai Lockspeiser, Maggie Emmott, Jan Hanson, and Jenny Soep were awarded the Academic Pediatric Association Research Award for Best Abstract by a Resident at the Pediatric Academic Societies Meeting in April for their abstract, “A qualitative study of third year medical students’ experiences with feedback and evaluation.”
  • Dr. Maya Bunik received the 2015 Harmon Lecture Award from the Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health.
  • Dr. Meghan Treitz has been named to the Academy of Medical Educators, CU SOM.
  • Dr. Mandy Allison has been elected as the Chair-elect of the AAP Council on School Health Executive Committee.
