Illumina Genome Network

The Next-Generation sequencing core is run by the Consortium for Comparative Genomics: a multi-institution multi-departmental initiative to develop genomics in Colorado.

The CCG runs and operates two high-throughput sequencers updated with the latest sequencing reagents and output level options:

  • Illumina Genome Analyzer II
  • Illumina MiSeq

The Next-Generation Sequencing Production Core provides sequencing service with the Illumina HiSeq 2000.

Access to these machines is available to researchers at the University of Colorado, outside academic researchers, and some commercial customers. We can also provide quotes for use in grant proposals, etc.
