Tuition & Financial Resources

Tuition and Fees

The University of Colorado Denver Bursar's Office is responsible for all activities related to student billing, tuition collections, institutionally managed loan programs, and coordination with state collections.

As a high-quality accredited university, our tuition rates are reasonable. This, along with a wide assortment of financial assistance programs, makes a top-notch education more affordable than you ever thought.

Differential tuition

In an effort to better maintain the quality of the business education you expect, the Board of Regents approved a tuition differential model for the CU Denver Business School to be implemented in Fall 2016. Students taking business classes will pay an additional amount per credit hour. The Business School tuition remains very competitive and has a high return on your investment. Click here for details and our FAQ.

Tuition and fees at CU Denver are established by the Board of Regents, the governing body of the University of Colorado, and are subject to change any time.

Tuition is based on student classification (undergraduate, graduate, academic program, resident or non-resident).

Western Undergraduate Exchange

Out of state students from Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education states can attend CU Denver at a discounted rate through the Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) program—saving you over $6,000 every year*. That’s almost like getting free money!

What’s better—receiving the WUE tuition benefit is EASY! Eligible students simply opt-in to the program on the application for admission. As long as you maintain a 2.0 GPA and are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester, you get the WUE discount. And don’t worry—opting in to WUE on your application for admission does not commit you to enrolling at CU Denver.
