The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI)
The Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) provides leadership to accomplish the university's strategic priority #5: to enhance diversity universitywide and to foster a culture of inclusion. This priority addresses various aspects of identity, including gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability status, veteran status, nationality, religion, and socioeconomic background. The diversity priority encompasses diverse elements of campus life, including recruiting and retaining diverse students, faculty, and staff; maintaining an institutional climate of inclusiveness, respect and understanding for everyone; and expanding community-based programs to reduce health and educational disparities. The Associate Vice Chancellor for Diversity and Inclusion collaborates with and supports a wide range of offices, initiatives, and programs focusing on diversity and inclusion on both campuses. She also supervises and manages diversity-related offices at the Downtown Denver Campus and the Anschutz Medical Campus.
