Flip
Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is a video discussion and video-sharing app. Flip helps to liven up discussions and encourages students to express their creative side. Flip accounts are free for faculty and students. Flip has several key features to meet your video assignment and discussion needs:
- Create engaging video discussion prompts: Flip allows users to add virtual backgrounds, stickers, gifs, music, and more to their video discussion posts and replies.
- Integrates with Canvas: Flip integrates with Canvas to allow you to create discussions that tie directly into the gradebook.
- Increases engagement: Flip allows users to be creative with their video discussion replies and provides an easy creating and editing platform. Students can express their own individuality with enhanced editing tools and templates.
