Interested in engaging in both architecture and urban planning? The Dual Master of Architecture and Master of Urban and Regional Planning degree option offered through the CU Denver College of Architecture and Planning combines both disciplines to deepen your knowledge of the design of buildings and how they fit into the public realm.
Interest Categories: Architecture & Planning
Campus: CU Denver
In order to pursue a dual degree, a student must be accepted separately into both the Master of Architecture (M.Arch) and the Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) programs. Students may choose to apply to one or both programs initially. If students begin one program and then determine they would like to pursue a dual degree, they may apply for the second program at the next available application deadline.
Once admitted, students must complete the work for both degrees before graduating. The benefit of pursuing a dual degree is the significant reduction in the number of required credits needed if each degree was earned separately.
