Certificates are earned in one of three areas of development: Professional Skills; Communication and Leadership; and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. These certificates are designed to provide students with tangible professional skills; gain ways to strategically communicate with customers, integrate computer programming into current work, or develop equity-mindedness in the workplace. The flexibility allows students to tailor this degree to their own needs.

  • Professional Skills Certificates: Develop essential skills in data science, professional communication, and technical writing to enhance your capabilities and advance your career.
  • Communication and Leadership Certificates: Gain expertise in conflict management, public policy, and strategic communication to lead effectively and navigate complex professional environments.
  • JEDI Certificates: Cultivate an understanding of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, alongside specialized skills in Spanish for healthcare and cultural diversity studies, to advocate for and implement positive change in various contexts.
