Gift aid includes grants and scholarships. Typically, these types of aid do not have to be repaid. Grants are often based on financial need, while scholarships are based on merit and may or may not be based on need. We determine your financial need by reviewing your Cost of Attendance and your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The estimation provided does not account for individual scholarships provided by each college. To learn more about gift aid, please visit www.ucdenver.edu/finaid/typesofaid
