Pharmacist in a clinical setting

North American-Trained PharmD Program

Are you a bachelor’s-trained pharmacist considering a PharmD? Weighing the costs versus the benefits associated with an advanced degree are serious considerations. So too, is juggling work, family and school.

At the University of Colorado Denver’s Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, we’ve worked with working pharmacists for over 16 years in our North American Trained PharmD (NTPD) program.  Pharmacists like you seeking to implement change, increase your knowledge of patient care and make an impact in your community.

Our NTPD program was established in 1999.  And while times have changed, our commitment to advanced pharmacy education remains strong.

With a top-tier, nationally-ranked school of pharmacy, our NTPD has continually grown, adding faculty and staff to better support you. We’ve even revised our curriculum, ensuring your education incorporates the most current methods and is relevant to today’s patient-centered pharmacy practice.

Our program can be completed in as little as two years but allows for flexible completion in up to six years depending on your needs. And best of all, CU Skaggs School of Pharmacy graduates earn the same Doctor of Pharmacy degree, regardless of how the courses are delivered.
