Financial aid cannot exceed the student's financial need or the Cost of Attendance (COA) for the semester or enrollment period. So, in these cases, aid will be reduced or canceled. Additional information is available on the Financial Aid Office’s Receiving Your Financial Aid (policies & procedures) web page.
The University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus will award financial aid after the Financial Aid Office has received and processed all necessary documentation. An award notification will be sent to the student's university e-mail account when awards are ready, and anytime thereafter when awards change. Carefully read and follow the instructions on the award notification.
Financial aid is disbursed (paid) each semester into your student account and used to pay all of your tuition and fees to the University. Funds remaining after tuition and fees are paid may be refunded to the student. Budget wisely: This money is also intended to cover your living expenses, child care (where applicable), transportation costs, etc. Additional information is available on the Financial Aid Office’s Receiving Your Financial Aid (policies & procedures) web page.
Visit the Financial Aid Office’s One Stop Shop/Student Loans web page for information on the types of student loans available. New StudentAid.gov website is here! It's a simpler way for students and parents to apply for and receive financial aid, plus repay their student loans.
