Explore Pharmacy

A Career in Healthcare

Begin your healthcare journey with a valuable introduction to drug therapies and the health professionals involved in changing the lives of their patients. As part of the healthcare team, pharmacists are medication experts who are actively involved with patient care in hospitals, clinics, community practice, research and more! There are several ways to explore pharmacy and the critical role pharmacists play. Join us for a campus visit day or a hospital tour or schedule a virtual conversation to get connected with resources you need!

Campus Visit Days

Engage with faculty members, connect with current students, take a campus tour, and learn about the profession during one of our campus visit days, held on Fridays from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm MT!

UCHealth Hospital Tours - currently on-hold due to COVID-19

Get first-hand exposure to patient care areas in one of the nation’s top academic hospitals. This is an invaluable experience for any prospective health professions student, demonstrating the vital role of pharmacists as part of the healthcare team and the management of medications throughout the institution.

Each tour has a limited number of spots and requires paperwork to be completed and approved at least a week prior, so it is best to sign up early. We will send you details after you schedule your tour, held on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 10:30 am or 10:30 am to 12:00 pm MT

Check back frequently for updates! In the meantime, consider a virtual advising appointment (below) to discuss options for a pharmacy career or undergo a transcript review.
