Research Track for Prospective Students

The Research Track does not choose participants until fall of the first year of medical school. However, if you are interested, fill out a Research Track Interest Form and we will keep you informed as information becomes available.

None of the information in the form will impact whether you are accepted to medical school, nor, if accepted, whether you will be accepted to the Research Track. The information provided helps us plan for your arrival and allows us to keep in touch with you regarding your interest in Reserach Track and to aid in pairing you with a department and mentor.

Applying to Program:

    • Apply for Research Track early fall of first year (Plan ahead, the process can take 4-6 weeks or longer)
    • An individualized Research Plan which will be created and monitored by the student in collaboration with a primary research mentor.
    • Applications will be reviewed and ranked by the Research Track Steering Committee. Students will be informed prior to the winter break as to whether they have been accepted into the program.
    • Questions about the program? Feel free to contact the program director or coordinator.
