Cost of Attendance

The Cost of Attendance (budget) for a student is an estimate of that student's educational expenses for the school year. A typical student budget includes both fixed and estimated expenses. The fixed costs consists of tuition and fees. The estimated expenses include books and supplies as well as room and board, transportation, and personal expenses.

Tuition and Fees

Tuition and fees are considered fixed costs. Tuition and fees at the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campus have been established by the Board of Regents, the governing body of the University of Colorado, and is subject to change any time.

Auraria Campus Mandatory Fees

Students enrolled at both CU Denver and another Auraria Campus Institution may be eligible to waive their duplicate campus fees.  Click here for more information.

Colorado Residency

Tuition classification is governed by Colorado statutes that apply to all state-funded institutions in Colorado. Institutions are bound by the provisions of this statute and are not free to make exceptions to the rules set forth.

Net Price Calculator

The University is using the U.S. Department of Education's Net Price Calculator. This Calculator was created to help current and prospective undergraduate students, families, and other consumers estimate the individual net price of an institution of higher education for a student.

The University of Colorado Denver guarantees that eligible Colorado residents from low-income families will be able to afford the academic costs of a university education without going into debt.
